Materials Paper plate - cut in half Tempura paint - red, orange, blue, green, violet, yellow, and indigo dark blue Paint brushes 1 inch streamers in rainbow colors Glue Yarn Steps Paint both halves of the papers plates in the shape of a rainbow. Place the colors in the order of the rainbow. Remember, ROYGBIV! Let the paint dry. Attach the streamers to the back of the straight side of each plate using the glue. Make the yarn into a loop and glue it on the back on one plate. Glue the two plates together. Now you have your own rainbow! Hang this in your window to remember the colors of the rainbow.
